3,481 grams of gold and 10 kg silver was donated by the devotees.
The famous Shirdi shrine of Sai Baba collected over Rs 3 crore as donations from devotees from December 24 to 27 last year, a senior official said on Friday.
“Rs 3.53 crore were collected as donations from the devotees from December 24 to 27 last year at the Shirdi shrine. Several devotees had thronged the shrine during these four days,” D R Zirpe, Chief Accounts Officer, at the Shirdi shrine said.
The shrine is managed by the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi.
“Moreover, 3,481 grams of gold and 10 kg silver was also donated by the devotees”, he said.
Meanwhile, on the first day of the New Year 2016, hundreds of people visited the shrine.
